Lest anyone think I have any secrets, wisdom, or advice to impart, let me say I don’t. I’ve always just figured that we never were totally disgusted with one another at the same time. You know how it goes, sometimes you look at your partner and say to yourself, “what was I thinking?”. Other times, I’m certain my husband said the same. But I suppose there was always a measure of love there, and the kids to consider as well as numerous other factors. So we moved forward, and here we are!
I’ve also thought about it this way; How could I ever part with the only man on the planet that knows what I looked like naked when I was in my teens?

LOL, I can’t believe that I have had the same thoughts! Anyway we will be married for 36 years in August. I think it was a good decision for us and apparently for the 2 of you. But my advice to “kids” today would be wait, get an education,travel and then settle down. Florida on the other hand, has children having children, not always getting married and thinking kids from other states are nuts for waiting to have children. I don’t think they know about preventive measures. Oh well, have a great weekend. And Happy Anniversary!!! @—->
Thanks so much ! And I do recall that your anniversary is August. It is very different these days. And hard to know what to say to the kids. Kate, thus far is single. Tim & Ally, married 6 years and just had a baby. Can only hope that thig work out for them as well as they have for us thus far.
